My DD's 11th birthday is coming up and she is asking for Elizabeth's bed. Does anyone have it and do you like it? Also, what do you think of the bedside table and the bedside accessories. We don't have Elizabeth but would be using it for Felicity. My DD is in 5th grade and I am sort of hesitating on getting another big item fearing that she may lose interest soon.
Also, AG furniture takes up a lot of space! She already has Sam's bed and the yellow trundle bed but she has had those for several years. How much furniture is too much?

you have too much when all of it wont fit into a doll room.....lol. I have Felicity's bed, I got it a few years ago, this past Christmas I got the Elizabeth bed linens...they are a much better quality than Felicity's. I hope this helps. If your daughter outgrows it and no longer wants it, there is always a market for it....so look at it as an investment....I keep telling my husband forget my 401K when I die sell the AG it will probably be worth more...certainly earning more interest than any of my bank accounts..

Good points! I am glad you like the quality of the linens. They look nice online, but you never know until you see them in person.

I can't give you a review (except to say I have always wanted Felicity's bed and prefer the linens to Elizabeths- but I have neither) BUT, if your daughter already has beds, how about a different piece of AG furniture such as a desk or a table?
That way, even though they take up a lot of space, the play value is diversified.

Judi...if she really wants it, I'd get it for her. My DD always wanted Sam's table and dishes and I never got them for her. We did finally get them when she was 16, but the thrill was gone.
Sometimes she still mentions how much she wanted that table! So go for it....

Felicity's bed, which is also Elizabeth's, is a wonderful piece. I happen to prefer the original bedclothes done for Felicity (I think they're more authentic) but I did get Elizabeth's and they are lovely. The bedside table is very nice, especially when you consider what it was going for on ebay before AG re-introduced it. I think the table, like the bed itself, are both very historically accurate and well made. IMO, Felicity's night-time necessities are of much better quality than those done for Elizabeth. The bedwarmer in particular is a great piece, again very historical. Elizabeth's are nice enough but not in the same league.
If your dd has the room and wants the bed, I'd definitely get it. IMO, it's well worth having.

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it! I think we will just rotate the furniture and put some in their boxes in the closet while other furniture is out. DD's room has blues and other pastel colors in it, so I think the Elizabeth bedding will go nicely. I think the Felicity bedding is nice, too, but the red doesn't go with the rest of the room.

The bed is very nice. DD has it and likes it. The linens are nice, but I find the bottoms come off easily. She has to remember to pick it up from the bottom to move it, rather than the top, which comes off. She had only one bed, so the dolls take turns in it.
